Payment

  • Accepting: Paypal and credit card payments. 
  • CA residents will be charged 7.75% sales tax. 
  • All web orders must be paid in full before we start production/design.

Shipping

  • Packaging: We reuse packing materials and wrap your purchase with care. Expect your package to arrive colorfully wrapped and protected from the elements.
  • Tracking & Notification: We send out email shipping notification with tracking info. This message is delivered to the email address on your order invoice.
U.S. Shipping
  • We use USPS First Class mail, Priority Mail, and Priority Express. Occassionally: FedEx. If you have a FedEx account number that you'd like us to use, let us know.
International Shipping
  • For non-personalized orders, we use USPS First Class mail which can take from to 2-10 weeks internationally. There is no tracking # through this service.
  • Personalized and larger orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail International which can take within 6-15 business days.
  • Why is International Shipping so expensive? This is for a few reasons: We spend hours, often days on each personalized order. Most are ordered for a special event with a firm deadline. In our early days, using cheaper shipping, packages have been lost and untraceable. So, we now only ship [high-cost orders] internationally to countries where we can provide tracking numbers and the packages have a delivery date within 6-15 business days, (not including buyer's country's customs clearance). This service is appreciated by our international buyers.
  • Unfortunately, we can NOT give you an exact delivery date nor promise that your package will arrive by a certain day, as there are no guarantees made by the postal service due to possible delays in customs at the borders. We have no control over customs processing times. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS, PLEASE ORDER EARLY IF YOU NEED YOUR ORDER FOR A SPECIFIC DATE. 
  • Depending on your country, customs charges or taxes may be due when you receive your package. These charges are your responsibility and are decided by the receiving country where you live. They are not included in the cost of shipping.
Order Fulfillment / Production Time
  • Each item listing/description states the amount of time that may be needed to make it, depending on current demand. This does not include shipping time. 

Checking in on Your Order Status

  • Tracking & Notification: We send out email shipping notification with tracking infohis message is delivered to the email address on your order invoice.

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds and returns will be handled on an individual basis. We want you to be happy with your order. Contact us if you're dissatisfied for any reason. 

We can not offer exchanges or accept returns on custom items. If something is made in your colors or personalized, then it's yours. If you're considering a purchase, but you're unsure about the paper colors, send us your address & the paper colors you'd like to see. We are happy to send free paper samples.

PAPEL PICADO: Additional Policies and FAQs

  • Order Fulfillment / Production Time: Production times are stated in each listing description. However, during peak demand, we reserve the right to prioritize orders by event date. If you need your order before the official event date, tell us this in the 'Note to Seller' section of checkout.
  • Your Event Date: If your order is for a special event, include this date in the 'Note to Seller' section of checkout. 
  • RUSH ORDERS: We do our best to accommodate rush orders, but never at the expense of our other customers. Please message us prior to purchasing. If we can accommodate it, we will let you know. We are NOT responsible for rush orders placed without our consent and we will issue a refund.
  • Paper Samples: Free. We're happy to send them. Send us a quick message with your address & the colors you'd like to see. It can take us up to a week to get the samples into the mail. Sample transit time is not included in order production times.
  • Can I mix flag designs in the same banner? Yes. You can mix patterns on your banners. You'd need to purchase from the different designs in the shop & let us know to mix them in together when we string them up. For example, if you liked LAS FLORES and MI FAMILIA, you could buy them both & ask us to string them together, alternating the designs. Put your instructions in the 'Note to Seller' section of checkout.
  • What kind of material do you use? We use tissue paper that is 100% Post Industrial Recycled Fiber content. It's not only eco-friendly-- it's actually better quality. Recycled content tissue paper is thicker and stronger than standard gift wrap grade tissue paper. We also use unbleached cotton string and non-toxic, PVC -free adhesive. We do not make plastic banners.
  • We reserve the right to photograph, post or sell any design that originates as a custom order, unless we agree otherwise.
